ALTOONA – An Allegheny County man has been arrested in Blair County after a drug-buy bust and search of his hotel room Thursday.

Altoona police said a confidential informant purchased two bricks, or 101 packets, of heroin from Louis Campbell, of Swissvale, at a restaurant on East Plank Road.

Campbell was arrested after the delivery and $1,656 was seized from his person, police said. Officers also searched his vehicle and a small amount of marijuana.

Officers obtained a search warrant for Campbell’s hotel room and seized an additional 546 packets of heroin. An additional warrant was filed on Campbell, charging him with delivering 41 packets of heroin to a confidential informant the previous day, police said.
