Annual Southmont Jubilee returns for 50th year

Cambria Co., PA (WJAC) — It's that time of year again as the annual Southmont Jubilee is now underway.

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the event being held in the community.

Admission is free and the jubilee features plenty of food, rides and entertainment.

Festivities are from 6 to 10 p.m. each day through Saturday.

The fireman's parade will be held Thursday evening at 7 p.m.

The jubilee is put on by the Southmont Volunteer Fire Company and is a big source of fundraising for the department.

Officials say they are always looking for more volunteers.
