Bellwood-Antis library continues annual used book sale until Saturday
BELLWOOD, Pa (WJAC) — The Bellwood-Antis public library's socially-distanced used book sale ends this Saturday.
The staff says community members have gone through books and materials sitting around and chose to help the library by contributing to the sale.
There are also tickets for basket raffles being sold, and prizes donated by local businesses.
The sale is one of the library's biggest fundraisers, with staff saying they've been able to raise up to $1,000 in the past.
"To allow for greater social-distancing, we're going to have the sale set up in both of our community rooms. One room will be all adult fiction and non-fiction, and in the other room, we'll have children's books and multi-media materials, such as movies, music, audio books, games and puzzles."
