Police say a 35-year-old Clearfield County man has been charged for allegedly touching two young girls.

According to a probable-cause affidavit, in October, one of the girls reported to police that Lance Spencer, of Lawrence Township, had inappropriately touched her last summer.

During a police investigation, another victim reported that Spencer had inappropriately touched her in 2010 when she was 5 years old, according to the affidavit.

Spencer has been charged with multiple offenses, including first-degree felony aggravated indecent assault of a child and second-degree felony indecent assault of a person less than 13 years old.

He was arraigned Friday before District Judge Joseph M. Morris, of Clearfield, and was sent to the Clearfield County Jail on a $25,000 bond.

He has since posted bond, according to an online court docket.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Jan. 24 before Morris.
