Coroner on scene of house fire in Richland Township

RICHLAND TOWNSHIP- The Richland Volunteer Fire Department and the Cambria County Coroner are on scene of a fatal fire.

According to Deputy Fire Chief Bob Heffelfinger, crews responded to a home on Erickson Drive for a house fire around 11:45 a.m. Friday.

When they arrived, there were fire conditions in the living room of the home and firefighters found the deceased man in the living room.

Heffelfinger said they are investigating the cause of the fire and the state fire marshal has been contacted.
