Authorities in Clearfield County say a DuBois man is behind bars after he allegedly attempted to solicit sex from someone whom he believed to be a teenage girl.

DuBois City police say 35-year-old Kyle Logan faces charges of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, corruption of minors, unlawful contact with a minor and child endangerment, according to online court records.

Police say Logan reportedly exchanged numerous sexually explicit messages with members of the online group 814 Pred Hunters, who were posing as a 15-year-old teen.

According to the affidavit, Logan was confronted publicly by the group, at which time he reportedly fled the area while pushing a stroller with a small child inside.

Police say, according to witnesses, the child was nearly injured during his escape.

Logan is being held at the Clearfield County Jail, on $75,000 bail, court dockets show.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Nov. 4.
