Man arrested for threats that lock down PSU dorm
STATE COLLEGE, Pa. - Officials have identified the man accused of threatening to harm his children, causing a lockdown at the Penn State campus.
Lee Son Yom, 52, of Pine Grove, was arrested at the Motel 6 in West Hanover Township in Dauphin County, near Harrisburg, on Sunday, state police said.
Yom called his sons, who are Penn State students and threatened to drive to Hamilton Hall and shoot them with a shotgun, state police said.
The threat forced campus police to lock down and secure the dormitory, officials said.
Yom also threatened to shoot his wife with a shotgun. state police said.
Yom is in the Dauphin County prison on $100,000 bail.
