Milestones make for fantastic Friday

There were plenty of milestones to go around Friday night.

In a loss to Penns Valley, Philipsburg-Osceola senior Halle Herrington tallied 29 points, making her Centre County's all time leading scorer.

In boy's basketball action elsewhere, Conemaugh Township and Bishop Guilfoyle defeated Windber and Forest Hills respectively.

On the girl's hardwood, Bishop Carroll defeated Westmont, and Windber was victorious over Conemaugh Township.

In the PIAA wrestling team duals at the Giant Center in class-AA, Chestnut Ridge fell in the semi-finals, and Westmont Hilltop fell in the quarters, but each squad will play on in the consolation bracket Saturday
