Missouri candidate who called Biden admin 'weak and gay' eyeing Trump endorsement

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (TND) — A candidate for Missouri secretary of state who drew outrage for calling the Biden administration “weak and gay” predicts former President Donald Trump will soon back her campaign, she told The National Desk (TND) in a statement Wednesday.
Valentina Gomez has gone viral on social media for her campaign messaging. The Republican candidate is a former NCAA Division I swimmer and a member of a “military family.”
President Trump and I are leading the charge to take our country back from the weak and gay Biden-Harris administration that has destroyed our nation,” Gomez told TND via email. “I look forward to accepting his endorsement so I can ensure a free and fair election to the people of Missouri, where dead people and illegals will never be voting.”Continuing, she defendedTrump amid his ongoing trial, saying the GOP presidential nominee is the victim of unconstitutional election interference.
“All of these cases against President Trump are baseless, and if he is facing jail time for defending our freedoms and constitution, I am ready to speak the truth and defend him from this unconstitutional gag order from a compromised judge in the biggest election interference case in history,” Gomez said.
Gomez’s social media presence ranges from mid-workout campaign speeches to highlights from the shooting range. In a clip propping up hyper-masculine social media personality Andrew Tate, she encouraged Americans not to “stay f------ hard” as opposed to being “weak and gay.” That post earned 2.2 million views.
“Missouri politics is full of weak p------,” she notes in another video shot while performing squats. “I am the future of the Republican Party and the future is here.”
The posts have earned the attention of Rep. Matt Gaetz, who noted in April “there is surely not another Secretary of State candidate in America possessing the energy of Valentina Gomez.”
Gomez "makes no apologies for rejecting deception, corruption, and mediocrity," she writes via her campaign website.
