On Thursday, the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency (PEMA) issued a boil water advisory for 38 residential homes located along Chestnut Street in Mount Union.

The post states that there was repair work being done and has since finished, but until the system collects two consecutive samples that are negative for coliform (a type of bacteria), the homes must remain under the boil water advisory.
