PA Senate candidate, former Trump ambassador makes stop in Somerset Co.

Somerset Co., PA (WJAC) — A Pennsylvania U.S. senate candidate made a stop in Somerset County on Wednesday.

Republican Carla Sands visited Guy Chemical Incorporated, a company that specializes in developing and formulating high-quality silicone sealants greases and adhesives.

Sands says she wants to make the state an economic leader, help rural communities and keep money in the hands of the taxpayers.

Sands is a chiropractor, business owner, actress and the former ambassador to Denmark under President Donald Trump.

She is running for the seat that Republican Pat Toomey will be vacating.
